This flag is the one & only of China... the other is just a big shit ! In 1912 the republic was claimed in order to replace the ancient empire. The Kwo Min Tang party adopted this design in 1914 & it became the new national flag in 1928 till 1949 when red China was claimed. Then it became Taiwan's flag. Red is the color of the Han people (the Chinese). The sun on the blue canton (sky) has 12 rays that represent the 12 hours of half a day. The colors are said to represent justice, equality & happiness (blue), brotherhood & democracy (white), the people & patriotism (red). The present pattern was adopted on 28 OCTOBER 1928.

This
flag of the Democratic Republic of Taiwan is definitely wrong. This
is the original flag of
the Republic of Formosa(臺灣民主國),
which is treasured in the National
Taiwan Museum.
It is commonly known as
the Blue Background Yellow Tiger Flag. The appearance
description mentions "rectangular"

Democratic National Flag - Lin Yushan's copy (Yellow Tiger
Flag) > collections.culture.tw/ntm_collectionsweb/collection.aspx?GID=MHMEM1MCM2
In
1895, the Taiwanese people established the
Republic of Taiwan, using the Yellow Tiger
Flag as its national flag. During
restoration, it was accidentally discovered
that the Yellow Tiger Flag was actually
double-sided, and the two tigers on the
front and back were different. This yellow
tiger flag of the Republic of Taiwan, with a
length and width of about 3 meters, was
commissioned by the Taiwan
Governor-General's Museum in 1909 to be
copied by painter Gao Qiao Yunting based on
the original. According to the records of
the Nichi Nichi Shinpo at the time, the
fabric and color were the same as the
original. During restoration, it was
discovered that the flag, which was
originally thought to have only one side,
actually had a different-looking tiger on
the back. The two tigers have different
eyes. Later generations speculated that it
might represent a day and a night, hoping
that it would guard the land of Taiwan day
and night.

However, Changhua County's population was less than 1.25 million at the end of April 2012, and its overall population has been on a long-term downward trend.
