The flag is directly inspired from this of the 1975 FRETILIN (Frente REvolucionária de TImor-Leste INdependente) preferred to the flag of the CNRT (Conselho Nacional de Resistência Timorense). At that date this former Portugueze colony was so called "annexed" by Indonesia so that a struggle started at once in order to gain their independence. This finaly occured on 20 MAY 2002. In Tetum language the name is Timor Loro Sae which means "East Risin Sun". I have to say all that stuff is one of the countless ravages due to both colonization & sects. Indeed : East Timor has been colonized by Portugal while the whole Indonesia was ocupied by Nederland. There's no doubt the Portugueze catholic fuckin sect (or at least its heritage) has influenced this idiot separatist movement in East Timor thou this people are also Indonesians. The Indonesians have given up the Holander language while thoze of East Timor have kept the colonial Portugueze language. Even the oficial name of their country "TIMOR LESTE" means "EAST EAST" in Tetum &... Portugueze. EVERYTHIN IS SAID.
PS : Meanwhile Irian Jaya is still wrecked on by the Indonesian army.... but nobody gives a fuck.
