This original shape dezigned by Jean Baptiste Debret has been bein the flag of Brasil since 1822 but at that date Brasil was an empire and the losange was displayin a crown. This crown was replaced by a night sky in 1889 when the country became a republic. The green field is for the Amazonian forest while the golden diamond represents the mineral wealth. The Milky Way bears Auguste Comte pozitivist motto "Order & Progress" in Portugueze. The blue sky shows several constellations. One of them is the very famous Southern Cross. This original pattern was adopted on 19 NOVEMBER 1889.

This drawin is THE MOST RELIABLE ever made of that very first crown with a green velvet cap + (white) pearls & diamonds.

As usual WikiMERDIA is just SHIT for the drawin of the crown of Emperor Pedro 1 (with their red & blue jewels and without the armillary spheres on the base).

WikiMERDIA is just SHIT TOO for the crown of Emperor Pedro 2 because their base is quite correct BUT they REtake the same tall arch dezign for the hoops !!!!!

Indeed : the dezign for the hoops is extremely different, as you can see on the REAL imperial crown of Emperor Pedro 2.

This drawin is THE MOST RELIABLE ever made of the second imperial crown (green velvet cap + extremely different shape for the hoops).

However theres an alternate dezign for the crown, as you can see here on this REAL imperial standard of Emperor Pedro 2,

The shape drawn by Le Gras for the crown of Emperor Pedro 2 is THIS VERY dezign.... and his velvet cap is red but it should be green
